Lloyd Little has been our President and Chief Operating Officer since founding the company in 1985. Under his leadership, James River has grown into an over 80 million gallon petroleum distribution company and a leader in the mid-Atlantic petroleum industry. James River Petroleum is a family owned corporation and under Lloyd’s strategic vision the company has grown to include Eastern Transportation, James River Solutions, and 8 convenient e Fueling locations.
He and his family reside in both the Richmond and Virginia Beach communities of Virginia. He is active in the community and is a loyal contributor of time and resources to the local Freedom House. Lloyd graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Business Management.

Tracy Little joined James River in 2004 and is an integral member of the senior management team. She has created significant sales through her balanced management approach and personal ability to be a significant force in the petroleum industry. This forward convergence has netted an impressive array of clientele to James River Petroleum that include: Old Dominion Electric Cooperative, The Commonwealth of Virginia (including over 100 state entities), Owens & Minor, and Performance Food Group.
Prior to James River, Tracy gained extensive sales and business experience along the Eastern seaboard of the United States. From 2001 to 2004, at Predictive Services in NY, she managed over 36 professional consultants serving clients in the financial, government, telecommunications, and energy sectors. From 1996 to 2001, she served as VP Business Development, Regional Sales Manager, and Branch Manager for Renaissance Worldwide in Newton, MA. Renaissance provides IT consulting & services to Fortune 500 clients. From 1994 to 1996, she served as Mid-Atlantic Sales Manager for Computer Professionals, Inc. in Lake Wylie, SC.
After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1990 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Tracy started her illustrious career in business as an Account Manager at Harrison Gray Personnel in Richmond.

Greg Natvig, Vice President of Operations, has worked in petroleum distribution for 27 years. At James River, his leadership responsibilities extend across the transportation companies, business systems and purchasing groups as well as all commercial and retail locations. Greg’s goal is to build smart, effective teams that promote a safe, environmentally responsible service to our customers; his challenge is to support a diverse customer base from Florida to New York using best-in-class transaction management tools and logistics. Greg previously worked as a Vice President with Quarles Petroleum. During his last 15 years with Quarles, he was the business unit leader of their 150 million gallon fleet fueling division.
Greg and his wife Caroline are residents of Fredericksburg and Lancaster County, VA.
Paul Lockett, Chief Financial Officer, has working in the Oil and Gas industry as an executive for 30 plus years in various family companies of significant size. He has worked with many Wall Street executives on several M & A deals and was direftly involved in the sale of M.H. Whittier Corporation oil and gas assets. Paul has spent several years in consulting for family companies ranging from logistics to 175 ton cranes and all equipment in between. Coming to James River was a logical step for Paul, combining all of his trucking and product experience in one place. Paul is a very hands on CFO with significant operations experience gained during the long vacations of family owners. Paul received his bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ and a Master’s Degree in international finance from Chapman University in Orange, California. Paul was formally trained in Six Sigma quality management and strongly believes in the team culture, which James River Petroleum has adopted.
Paul and his wife Melanie reside in Richmond, VA.
Tammy Venhuizen joined James River in 2005 and has a collective 20 years of experience in the petroleum industry. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University and began her career at Primary Corporation. Her resume includes working for Kinder Morgan, Shell Oil Company and Duke Energy. Tammy has experience in scheduling pipelines, barges and fuel trucks as well as managing futures trading and most recently, commercial sales. Her broad resume has allowed her to gain a high level of understanding of every facet of the petroleum industry. Her high energy and can-do attitude has led her to greatly expand James River’s client base and consistently gain new business.
Tammy and her family reside in Goochland, VA.
Darlene Harris joined James River in 2006. She attended John Tyler Community College and began her career at Primary Corporation and then transitioned into Kinder Morgan when the company was sold. Her extensive experience in Customer Service, Operations and Fuel Specifications has allowed her to gain knowledge of every aspect of the petroleum industry. Darlene’s creative solutions and always positive attitude help to provide exceptional customer service for our dedicated customers.
